International Women’s Day at Age UK

International Women’s Day aims to create a world free of discrimination and inclusive of all women. Age International recognises that for many older women in poorer countries, equality is a long way off.

The Charity is calling on the people of Witham to visit the Age UK shop in the Grove Centre before 8th March to sign its petition calling on the Government to explicitly include older women in plans for international development over the next decade to ensure that no woman is left behind.
